‘EU Integration of Western Balkans: Dynamics and Challenges’, Tirana, Albania

 

CALL FOR PAPERS

EPOKA University, in Tirana, Albania organizes the 9^th International Conference on European Studies (ICES'24). The conference titled ‘EU Integration of Western Balkans: Dynamics and Challenges’ will be held on 13-14 November 2024 in Tirana, Albania. ICES’24 is organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “EU Integration of Western Balkans: Patterns and Issues” coordinated by the Center for European Studies at EPOKA University and co-funded by the European Commission.

Academicians, scholars, professionals, and graduate students are invited to submit their papers for ICES’24. We warmly welcome paper submissions and presentation proposals from across the world and from a wide spectrum of disciplines and perspectives. We also welcome poster submissions, which will provide authors and participants with the ability to connect with each other and to engage in discussions about the work. Participants may present in a maximum of two sessions

Abstracts should be 250 words maximum and sent to ces@epoka.edu.al until October 10, 2024.

Accepted abstracts will be notified via email until 15 October, 2024.

The conference fee of 50 € includes participation in all conference sessions and activities, lunch (14^th of November), coffee breaks, conference materials and publications. Travel and accommodation costs should be covered by participants.

Papers presented will be published as part of the Conference Proceedings Book. A selected number of papers will be published in Journal of European Social Research.
