Contributed papers will be selected through a blind review process of the abstracts (not more than 500 words) which should contain a clear indication of the purpose of the research and its relationship with the conference topics, the approach used the major results, and the implications.

Double Article Review

We would like to inform that all submitted abstracts and papers will be reviewed (blind review) by the scientific committee of the conference in order to comply with the ‘peer reviewed’ conditions.  Further, if the participants want, the organizing committee of the conference would provide reviewers/ referee reports, including their comments, on the paper.

Publication and Conference Proceedings

Accepted abstracts/proposals or papers, panels, workshops, or media productions will be published as Conference Proceedings and distributed to the attendees. The selected papers, after academically edited and reviewed, will be grouped for possible publication as a special issue in a journal.  

The Journal of European Social Research will co-organize the ICES’20 Best Paper Award competition. Selected papers will be part of an edited book on transitional justice.
